Organisation for Positive Urbanism (OPU) Collective
The Organisation for Positive Urbanism (OPU) Collective is a dynamic, community-focused initiative based in Nicosia, Cyprus. Founded in 2023, OPU brings together urban planners, architects, artists, researchers, and engaged citizens to reimagine the future of our cities. With a vision rooted in inclusivity, sustainability, and human connection, OPU works to create healthier, more vibrant urban environments — one neighborhood at a time.
Through a series of creative and participatory actions, OPU invites the public to actively shape the cities they live in. From cultural interventions and public space activations to community workshops and sustainable mobility projects, the collective is turning urban imagination into tangible change.
Their physical base, OPU House, located in Agioi Omologites, serves as a hub for dialogue, experimentation, and collaboration — a place where local voices come together to co-create meaningful urban experiences.
